Many Roads

What is this loneliness without you?
Yeah a sky without its stars
A heart without its love
Why do you seem so very far?
They say that you are closer
They say that you are near
I cannot see or feel you,
yet these eyes of mine are clear

Are you made from magic?
Are you made from wishful thinking?
I’ll keep on believing if you keep my boat from sinking
We’re both in this together
Keep away from stormy weather
Never get me back home to you

There’s many roads and many paths that lead to you
Some say their false but I believe all of them are true
Hey, all of them are true
The green earth and the sky blue
Yeah, baby baby I’m a fool
A fool without you
A fool without you

Yeah well I have come to learn that all the jackals have their say
Howlin’ to the moon trying to remedy their pain
Pain of separation
Looking for a love gone lost
Mountains high, valleys low
Whatever it’s the cost

I may be a dreamer, yeah, but I believe in faith
Only in the darkness can you see the stars ablaze
In my darkest hour I shall keep my strength and say,
“Go and let your fire live, yeah”

There’s many roads and many paths that lead to you
Some say their false but I believe all of them are true
All of them are true
The green earth and the sky blue
Yeah baby baby I’m a fool
A fool without you

There’s many roads and many paths that lead to you
Some say their false but I believe all of them are true
All of them are true
The green earth and the sky blue
Yeah baby baby I’m a fool
A fool without you
A fool without you

    • Dear Ranu,

Thank you for your visit and comments. Trevor Hall, the singer/songwriter, is an interesting young man. Summer and I are going to listen to him in concert this coming July.

      All good wishes,

      robert

    • Greetings,

I’m glad that you like this. Trevor does write some good lyrics. That’s what I like about him. He is strongly influenced by Rasta and Reggae (particularly Bob Marley) and his involvement in traditions of Sanatana Dharma out of India. Thank you for your visit!

      All good wishes,

      robert
